Today's Reading Exodus 24

Laws of the covenant (Exodus 20.21-24.18)
Israel accepted the covenant and it was sealed with blood. (v. 1-11)
Moses on Mount Sinai for forty days (v. 12-18).

Likewise we have the New Covenant, if we have been elected, quickened, come to Jesus by faith which is not of our doing but God's doing. This covenant was sealed by the blood of Jesus on the cross.

Today's Reading Exodus 12


Exodus 12 is an account of the Instition of the Passover. This is to remember the last bight in EGypt when the Angel of the Lord passed over Egypt. Those who believed what Moses said, had painted their doorpost with the blood of a lamb that was male and unblemished. This is a wonderful representation of Jesus Christ in our lives. IF we truly believed in what He has done for us and repented of our sins, we shall be saved.

This chapter deals with the last plague, the death of the firstborn, was announced. Again, this was an attack on the gods of Egypt. The ultimate purpose was that Pharaoh and Egypt should know that He is God. The same thing will happen in the last days when the seven seals, bowks and trunpet will be released.
