Samuel Brings About Transition
Today's reading 1Samuel 12
King James Version with Web Encyclopedia Links: 1Samuel 12

In 1Samuel 12, Samuel gave his farewell address
Samuel was a good servant of God. There was nowhere in the Bible that mentioned his faults or sins. It does not mean that he was sinless or perfect. He was above reproach. He ministered to the people, he warned them, rebuked them and loved them.

Application
Samuel is a good example for us to follow even from when he was a boy, he was sensitive to the voice of God. He was bold and not afraid when he rebuked Saul, when he had to anoint David.

Verses to meditate upon: 3 Here I stand. Testify against me in the presence of the LORD and his anointed. Whose ox have I taken? Whose donkey have I taken? Whom have I cheated? Whom have I oppressed? From whose hand have I accepted a bribe to make me shut my eyes? If I have done any of these, I will make it right."
